Wild Stillness:

Wellness and conservation under the Namibia sky

April 21-25. 2027 (Wed-Sun)

Windhoek, Namibia

Join us for this 5-day, 4-night retreat in the mystical Namibian bush, on private conservation land where giraffe, white rhino, and zebra move through the same reserve you will sleep in, guided by physician and yoga teacher Ingrid Yang, J.D., M.D., C-IAYT, E-RYT-500.

“The animals have not forgotten what we have. They move without urgency. They sleep without alarms. Watching them, you remember that you used to know how to do this too.”

Namibia: Where the silence has something to say.

One of the oldest landscapes on earth, Namibia holds a quality of silence that is not empty, but immense. Dawn breaks in copper and ochre. The night exposes the Milky Way with an intimacy you do not expect until you are standing beneath it.

This 5-day retreat will be held at Zannier Omaanda, a lodge set on 22,000 acres of private conservation land 30 minutes outside Windhoek, where the architecture disappears into the bush and the animals set the pace. We will set forth in safari drives at sunrise and dusk. We will practice yoga, breathe, and meditate with vistas of the open veld. We will meet with conservationists working to protect the wildlife that still moves through this corridor. We will take afternoon tea on wide terraces and let the day slow down.

All levels are welcome. Your body already knows how to do this. Namibia will remind it.
