Adaptive Yoga Trainings are a series of trainings suitable for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, physical therapists, and individuals with the conditions in learning how to practice adaptive yoga for several disabilities and conditions. In these 2-hour videos, we review the physiology and kinesiology of each condition or disability, appropriate yoga postures that improve function, mobility, and quality-of-life for each specific condition (and why/how they help!), modifications, variations and so much more! All the questions you’ve ever had — answered in these videos!

These trainings are taught by Ingrid Yang, M.D., E-RYT-500, C-IAYT and Jennifer Chang D.P.T., E-RYT-200, C-IAYT. We recommend that you have the Adaptive Yoga Book by Dr. Yang available prior to taking the course as it will be easier to follow along.



Yoga for Low Back Pain:

Do you know the secret to low back pain? By the end of this training, you will understand what actually causes low back pain (hint: it’s not always the back itself). Most importantly, you will learn important concepts regarding safety and strength-improvement for low back pain. What causes low back pain and how can we use yoga to improve, strengthen, increase flexibility, and decrease pain in our lives when we are living with low back pain.
